In what will remain an ever-lasting memorable event, the T6 participants gathered one last time for a late afternoon session of T6 that was followed by a Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC) sponsored graduation dinner event at the St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi.
Ran at the St. Regis hotel’s cozy library, this last session revolved around the subject of leaving a good leadership legacy behind, which topic spurred the ten participants coming from different organizations to reflect on leaders they had known or encountered during their careers and whom had left a good legacy behind, reflecting with that on what it was those leaders did, that nurtured them that good and well deserved legacy behind them.
The invited guest leader during that last session was Guy Epsom, Senior Manager, Business, Partnerships and Revenue Development TDIC, who summarized for participants in that one hour interview, the key learning and lessons he gathered from his exciting and adventurous decades of travels and experiences around the world.Mr. Epsom left participants with a key valuable advice, where he encouraged each one to take charge and make self-inspired initiative and avoid building up reliance on others to come and get us to do something.
Mr. Epsom, along other guest leaders that were invited in previous T6 sessions came to join participants in their graduation ceremony and dinner event and wished participants success in their careers.
The next Abu Dhabi based T6 cohort is scheduled to run April 12th 2012, registrations are now open.
