Appointed by the Gulf Petrochemicals & Chemicals Association (GPCA), Altaaat Leadership Development Institute delivered this last week a highly interactive two-day workshop on “Emotional Intelligence and Personal Competence”. Recognizing the role that Emotional Intelligence (EQ) plays in driving the success of an organization, the two-day workshop held at the Badia Gulf Club in Dubai, was attended by twenty five high level executives that included VPs and Advisors to the CEOs, all coming from the region’s most reputed Oil & Gas companies such as Sabic, Aramco, Petrorabigh, Tasnee, Equate, Borouge amongst others.
The workshop engaged participants in fun and interactive team activities that led to lessons being quickly and easily absorbed by attendees. Along the workshop, an Oil Hunt Desert activity was also held, taking participants out to the desert to hunt for oil!
The workshop received great reviews from participants, and possibility of offering the workshop on a regular basis is being looked into.
Gulf Petrochemicals and Chemicals Association (GPCA) represents a powerful segment of the Gulf region economy. Today it is the Gulf’s sole trade association, respected and recognized as the collective voice of the petrochemicals and chemicals industries on regional and international issues of common interest. It is also the trusted source of authoritative data on the Gulf region’s petrochemicals and chemicals industries, and has steadily expanded its influence and membership base to offer multiple platforms for stakeholders to network and share best practice.
