Innovation-Based Leadership Development
A Ten Month Journey of Innovation
A joint program between Altaaat Leadership Development, IBM Global and Masdar Institute.
In this program, innovation is looked at as a two-part challenge: ideas and execution.
In order to win, individuals, teams, and organizations will have to succeed at both i.e. ideas and execution. Together, program participants of team leaders and their team members enrolled in the program, along with their program facilitators will lead their projects beyond the idea to innovation execution, drawing on time, energy, and distinct thinking.
10 High Impact Action-Learning Sessions
The program is made up of 10 high impact action-learning sessions that run over ten months. Each program cohort brings together a number of project teams representing different organizations and industries. As part of the program, project teams would be taken back to the original problem that their projects came to solve, only to learn about creative problem solving and innovative thinking for REAL solution design. The project teams will be guided, inspired, coached and assessed on applying innovation on these actual projects brought from their organizations onto the program.
Projects are seen to evolve over the ten months of the program, if not change entirely from what they were initially set out to achieve. Allowing participants to witness the profound impact of their creative problem solving skills and the innovation techniques they had learned to apply on their projects during the program.
A project-innovation committee formed by members from all of Altaaat Leadership Development, IBM Global and Masdar Institute including program Guest Speakers, evaluates the progress and the evolution of each project, to select the winner for the Project Innovation Award. Winners are then announced in the Project Innovation Award Ceremony that takes place at the end of the program – coinciding with the Program Graduation.
